Distilling Game Mechanics
into Concentrated Fun

Pseudoscience Interactive is a small indie team from Hamburg, Germany. We make games and develop nifty development tools along the way.

What we are working on

Currently, we are hard at work on our first game: a medieval 2D management roguelike about fighting zombies, saving the kingdom and, most importantly, alchemy!

What we do

As developers our focus lies in the constant improvement of our workflows as well as the development of tools. Our goal is to create games with high replay-ability and an emphasis on game mechanics.

How we got here

Our story began back in 2020 when co-founder Julia Reberg started the game project Alchymia and got admitted to the very first Games Lift Incubator program organized by the Gamecity Hamburg initiative. At that time Philipp Okoampah was already involved in the project, but it would take until 2022 for us to officially join forces, when we successfully applied for the Prototype Funding, also by Gamcity Hamburg.

As off December 2024, we are proud recipients of the Press Start: Games Founding Grant.
